In 2005 I will be in Syria and Lebanon as a Senior Fulbright Scholar working on a country study of Syria from 1918 to the present for Oxford University Press.

I hope I will be able to continue publishing "Syria Comment" during my time in Damascus. It will be difficult because of slow internet connections and political sensitivities.
